Year Up Jacksonville is a nonprofit job-training program that launched in January 2015 in partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ). Year Up students spend one semester gaining technical and professional skills, followed by a full-time, credit-bearing internship at a top local company. They can then complete their associates degree the following year. Ninety-four percent of Year Up Jacksonvilles Class 3 graduates are either employed or attending college full-time, with average starting salaries of $17.32/hour.
